Massive congratulations and thanks to our fantastic fundraiser, James Sprigg.
James recently successfully completed his London to Paris cycling challenge – raising over £2,000 for our charity in the process!
Setting out on July 22nd to take part in the challenge of a lifetime – James joined a group of cyclists on a thrilling charity bike ride, taking to the road in a series of exciting stages over four days, to reach the French capital.
James, who is from Poole in Dorset, works in financial services and is the director of Imperial Paraplanning Ltd.
Talking about the challenge ahead, James said: “In terms of cycling, I’ve been riding on and off for a number of years, mainly as a way to keep fit. But this will be my first and the biggest, most demanding cycling event I’ve undertaken to date, which makes it even more meaningful to me.”
He said: “I decided to take on the challenge primarily because my youngest son, Harley (4) was diagnosed as autistic in 2025. It’s been a long and, at times, difficult process navigating assessments and getting the right support in place for him.
“Through that journey, I’ve seen first-hand how important specialist services, understanding, and early intervention can be for both children and families, which is why supporting Autism Together felt like a very natural fit.”
On completing his challenge, James said:
