Gifts in Memory

A Lasting Tribute to a Loved One

Losing someone we love is never easy, but remembering them through a meaningful act can bring comfort and hope. Making a gift in memory to Autism Together is a powerful way to honour a loved one’s life while helping to shape a better future for autistic people and their families.

Whether your loved one had a personal connection to autism, supported our work during their lifetime, or simply believed in creating a more inclusive world, a donation in their name is a lasting tribute that continues their legacy of kindness and compassion.

In memory of mum Margery, grandmother of a person we support.

"She was always very grateful for the love and attention given to Olivia by her core carer team, Lesley, Nicola and Karen, in her little flat at Weatherstone's Court..."

"...Never being a person who sought attention for herself from others,  she didn't want family and friends spending money on flowers at her funeral. She wanted her death to have some meaningful benefit for Autism Together."

Ways to Give in Memory

There are several ways you can make a gift in memory:

  • One-off donation in your loved one’s name
  • Collection at a funeral or memorial service
  • Setting up a tribute fund where friends and family can contribute over time  (link to Memory Giving http://www.memorygiving.com)
  • Fundraising in their memory, such as taking part in a sponsored event

Every gift, no matter the size, helps us continue our vital work – providing care, support, and opportunities for autistic people to live the life they choose.

If you’d like to talk to us about making a gift in memory, setting up a tribute fund, or how your donation will be used, we’re here to help – with compassion, care, and gratitude.

Leaving a Gift in your Will

By including a gift to Autism Together in your will, you can leave a lasting legacy that supports autistic people for years to come.

A gift in your will is entirely voluntary. Autism Together cannot provide legal or financial advice, and we recommend that you seek independent professional advice when making or updating your will.

Tax Information

Gifts to charities are exempt from Inheritance Tax and may reduce the overall rate of Inheritance Tax applied to your estate.

We are incredibly grateful to anyone who chooses to remember Autism Together in this way.
