Many of our senior leadership team started out as support workers in our charity, and have worked their way up into managerial and director roles. At Autism Together we have many opportunities available for you to advance your career in care, and provide the necessary training and support to help you grow, whilst continuing to make a real difference to the lives of autistic people.

You don’t need previous experience to become a Support Worker.
What matters most is having the right values, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to help others. From day one, you’ll receive full training from our award-winning Learning & Development Team, giving you the confidence and skills to succeed in your role.
As your career develops, we’ll continue to support your learning through specialist autism training, qualifications, and progression opportunities.

Our Talent & Retention team will review all of the applications for the role, and get in touch with you if you’ve been shortlisted once the post is closed.
We’ll be in touch to arrange an interview and ask a few questions about your work history, and why you are interested in the role.
You’ll be invited for an interview at our Oak House head office in Bromborough by a member of our team and the hiring manager of that service for the post.
If you’ve been successful at interview, we’ll be in touch with an offer and begin the onboarding process.
We’ll begin the necessary checks like DBS and contacting your references.
You’ll be onboarded onto our induction training which lasts 2 weeks and is fully paid.
If you’re applying to be a support worker, you may be required to do a shadow shift whilst you learn the ropes.
