As part of our Autism Acceptance Month celebrations, people we support from our Day Services displayed their art in an exhibition for the public to enjoy.
Called ‘Our Life in Colour’, it was on for one week in the Birkenhead Park Visitor Centre (CH41 4HY) during April.
With the sun shining and the park busy during the Easter break, there were lots of visitors to enjoy the show. This was the second year running we were able to showcase a range of art from Autism Together, and share it with the wider public at the park.
The exhibition showcased a selection of the fantastic artists who attend our Day Services, and many of those people we support proudly went along to see their artworks on display.
There were a wide range of artworks to view and the people we support worked incredibly hard to create these pieces in time for Autism Acceptance Month. Don’t worry if you missed the show – just scroll down to see a photo gallery of the work!
People came from far and wide to view the exhibition, as shown by our Visitor’s Book which had 9 pages worth of comments in, which included:
