If you need help with finding work that works for you, our Pathway to Work Co-ordinator can support you in your career journey.
Using a person-centred approach, we support autistic people to find a placement that works for them, ensuring reasonable adjustments to help overcome any struggles they may face when accessing employment.
Pathway to Work will help you with…
You will need a confirmed diagnosis of autism from your GP, or evidence of your pathway to a diagnosis.
A Care Act Assessment will be completed by your local authority to determine your care needs.
You can contact our Advice & Support team, or contact your Central Advice & Duty Team in your local authority.
Your Social worker will then speak to you to define what services you require for your individual needs.
A care plan will be put in place for your needs based on our available services.
The scheme is helping Gina get genuine experience within the workplace at a location she finds interesting and stimulating. That place is Eureka! Science + Discovery on the Wirral banks of the River Mersey at Seacombe.
