SPONSORSHIPS 

1.1          By purchasing an animal sponsorship from our Friends of Autism Together Farm website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. 

1.2          The benefits and prices of our sponsorships (whether bought for yourself or as a gift for someone else), are as quoted on our website: www.autismtogether.co.uk/friends-of-the-farm/.  

1.3          When you sponsor an animal, your money will be used to help look after all the animals in that species that are at the farm. For example, if you sponsor an alpaca then your money will be used to look after the whole herd not an individual alpaca. 

1.4          Sponsoring an animal does not give you any rights in any animal, and does not make you responsible for any animal sponsored. 

1.5          Each sponsorship is for 12 months. One month before the end of any 12-month sponsorship period we will write to you explaining that your sponsorship is about to expire and giving you the option of renewing that sponsorship, or selecting a different species to sponsor, for an additional 12-month period. If you want to continue with your sponsorship, you will need to pay for another 12-month period before the expiry date of your current sponsorship. Each 12-month period starts on the date that we process the sponsorship. This date will be stated on your personal certificate, which you will receive with your sponsorship welcome pack. 

1.6          We reserve the right to refuse applications for sponsorships at our sole discretion, and to bring the sponsorship scheme to an end at our discretion. 

1.8          The “Volunteers’ Day” and “Family Day” [referred to in the Welcome Pack] will take place at a specified time and date each year, when you can register your interest to visit Autism Together Farm. Full details of this will be sent to you in advance of each occasion, where relevant to the sponsorship. 

1.9          We can’t guarantee that the species you have sponsored will be on show or available to meet at the time that you visit the farm. 

1.10       Once you have purchased a sponsorship and receive email confirmation from us of your purchase, please allow 3 to 5 days to receive a sponsorship Welcome Pack from us, which will arrive by post. Delivery may be longer around busy periods such as Christmas. We will not be responsible for any delays in delivery once we have dispatched your sponsorship Welcome Pack. 

1.11 You can cancel your sponsorship for any reason within 14 days of us confirming your order for a sponsorship. If you wish to cancel, please contact us on 0151 334 7510 or by filling in the Contact Us form on our website to arrange a refund. 

1.12 These terms are governed by English law and wherever you live you can bring claims against us in the English courts. If you live in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring claims against us in the courts of the country you live in. We can claim against you in the courts of the country you live in.
