Congratulations to two teams from Autism Together who have been named finalists in a prestigious national awards ceremony.
The National Learning Disabilities & Autism Awards celebrates excellence in the support for people with learning disabilities and/or autism, and aims to pay tribute to those individuals or organisations who excel in providing quality care.
Our Learning Culture Team have been shortlisted for their fantastic work in delivering the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training, alongside our amazing autistic Experts by Experience who co-deliver the training.
They are finalists in a new award, the Partnership for Co-Produced Training Award. This award recognises outstanding teams or partnerships that have worked with people with lived experience to co-design, co-deliver, and co-evaluate training programmes.
And, following on from being finalists in this year’s Autism Leaders List Awards, The Podcast Group at Gallagher House has been selected among those in the running for The People’s Award.
This award will be presented to an individual or team of people with autism or a learning disability. The aim is to celebrate individuals or organisations who offer exceptional encouragement and support for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism in providing support services, personal development and inclusion.
The awards evening is taking place on Friday July 4th at the International Conference Centre in Birmingham.
Congratulations to all our finalists. To be recognised, nationally, for this work over the past year is certainly something to cherish and celebrate.
