Congratulations to Helen Bilton, Autism Together’s Director of People & Culture, who has this week been awarded a very prestigious international accolade.
On Wednesday, Helen was named amongst the top 30 HR professionals in the CIPD’s global HR30 list for 2025!
The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development – an association for human resource management professionals – this week released its very first HR30 list. This award celebrates the diverse community of senior people professionals making a measurable impact in their organisations.
Helen joined Autism Together in 2023 and has since implemented a raft of changes to the organisation – including improvements to recruitment, staff benefits, induction, training and the overall culture at AT – which impressed the CIPD’s judges.
Helen was chosen from a highly competitive field, having first been shortlisted by the editorial teams at People Management and Work, before a judging panel of respected HR industry leaders selected her for the final list.
Also named in the HR30 list for this year were people services leaders from across a range of industries, including the Ministry of Justice, Experian, Bank of Ireland, the Cabinet Office, Unicef UK, and NHS England.
Helen rubbed shoulders with these HR luminaries at an exclusive awards event in London, following the official announcement of the HR30 list at the opening of CIPD’s Festival of Work on June 11th.
Peter Cheese, chief executive at the CIPD, said: “The HR professionals on our first ever HR30 list are truly championing the vital work our profession does, delivering significant value to their organisations and their people.
“As the world of work continues to evolve, the role and impact of the HR profession has never been more vital to organisations’ success. HR30 is about recognising outstanding leaders in our profession and showcasing their achievements, but it’s also a platform for professional development and networking. We are delighted to recognise this influential group of HR leaders, and the learnings we can all take from them as they continue to deliver impactful people strategies in their organisations.”
